Lula praises Fernanda Torres and says democracy must always be defended

247 - President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva once again praised Fernanda Torres, winner of the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Film, for her portrayal of Eunice Paiva in the movie Ainda Estou Aqui.

Torres played Eunice Paiva, a lawyer and widow of Rubens Paiva, a congressman who was kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by the military regime in 1971.

Lula, who had previously commended Fernanda Torres's performance on other occasions, stated in a social media post this Monday (6) that it is impossible not to continue emphasizing the actress's achievement.
